Job Description:
As a Sustainable Development Practitioner, your primary responsibility will be to assess, develop, and maintain sustainable practices within the industrial zone. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including government agencies, environmental organizations, and businesses, to ensure compliance with environmental policies and regulations.
Your role will involve:
- Conducting environmental impact assessments and audits
- Implementing and monitoring environmental management systems
- Providing guidance and support to businesses in achieving sustainability goals
- Collaborating with stakeholders to develop sustainable development plans
- Assisting in the evaluation and implementation of renewable energy projects
- Monitoring and reporting on environmental performance
- Supporting community outreach programs related to environmental education and awareness
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Science, Ecology, or related field
- Proven experience in sustainable development and environmental management
- Knowledge of environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Passion for environmental preservation and sustainability
