Job Description:

As an Environmental Solutions Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing sustainability initiatives within our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to assess and address environmental impact in compliance with local regulations. You will collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and government agencies to drive forward our environmental goals.

Responsibilities:

Conduct environmental impact assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
Develop and implement strategies to minimize the ecological footprint of our housing projects
Create and maintain relationships with relevant authorities and ensure compliance with environmental regulations
Advise project teams on sustainable construction practices and material selection
Stay up to date on environmental laws and policies to ensure the company's compliance
Organize and conduct training sessions on environmental best practices for employees
Monitor and analyze energy consumption data to identify areas for improvement

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Ecology, or related field
Proven experience in developing and implementing environmental programs
Strong knowledge of local environmental regulations and policies
Familiarity with sustainable construction practices and energy-efficient technologies
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to effectively communicate complex environmental concepts to diverse stakeholders
Proficiency in relevant software and tools
Fluency in German and English
