Position: Mental Health Building Specialist

About the Role:

The Mental Health Building Specialist, as a key member of our team, will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of our therapeutic facilities. You will utilize your expertise in construction and real estate to create environments that support the mental well-being of our clients. The role involves collaboration with architects, engineers, contractors, and therapists to ensure our facilities meet the standards of safety, accessibility, and aesthetics.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborating with architects and engineers to create innovative and therapeutic building designs
  • Managing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
  • Ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and accessibility guidelines
  • Conducting regular inspections to identify and address maintenance and safety issues
  • Researching and implementing sustainable building practices to contribute to the overall well-being of our clients and the environment
  • Staying updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in mental health facility construction

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, civil engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in construction project management and real estate development
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and accessibility standards
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
