Your Responsibilities:

Develop innovative recruitment strategies to source and attract qualified candidates.
Create and post enticing job descriptions, promoting the City as an excellent place to work.
Utilize various recruitment channels, such as job boards, social media, and professional networks, to reach potential candidates.
Screen, interview, and assess candidates to identify the best fit for open positions.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their specific needs and preferences in candidates.
Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline and establish relationships with universities, professional organizations, and community resources.
Conduct reference checks, background screenings, and verify employment eligibility.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in talent acquisition or recruitment.
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications in HR and recruitment are preferred.
