Position: Environmental Compliance Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Compliance Coordinator to join our team in New Brunswick. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring that our operations comply with all governmental environmental regulations and permits while monitoring and improving our environmental performance.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain compliance with environmental regulations and permits at our facilities
Develop and implement environmental management systems
Conduct environmental audits and inspections
Prepare and submit all required documentation and reports for regulatory agencies
Stay updated on relevant environmental legislation and regulatory changes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement environmental best practices
Identify opportunities to optimize environmental performance and implement sustainable solutions
Provide training and support to employees on environmental regulations and practices

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental compliance
Strong knowledge of Canadian environmental regulations and permitting processes
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and environmental management software
