Role Description

As an Advanced Geospatial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our Environmental and Geological Mapping division. You will be responsible for exploring cutting-edge geospatial technologies, analyzing complex environmental data, and developing innovative solutions to mitigate potential environmental risks associated with transportation projects.

Responsibilities

Utilize advanced geospatial software to analyze and interpret environmental and geological data
Develop and implement strategies to optimize geospatial analysis processes
Conduct comprehensive environmental impact assessments and risk analyses
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate geospatial data into transportation planning and decision-making processes
Identify and communicate potential environmental risks and propose solutions to mitigate them
Stay updated with the latest advancements in geospatial technology and incorporate them into department practices

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field
Strong proficiency in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS)
Experience with spatial analysis, remote sensing, and data visualization tools
Knowledge of environmental regulations and impact assessment methodologies
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
