As a Sustainable Communities Specialist, you will play a crucial role in fostering relationships with various community organizations, local councils, and environmental groups. Your expertise in sustainability practices and community engagement will allow you to drive meaningful impact and positive change in the area of energy consumption.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sustainable energy initiatives in collaboration with community partners.
Engage with local councils, nonprofits, and community organizations to promote energy conservation and efficiency.
Provide expert advice on sustainable practices to internal teams and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver educational programs on energy conservation.
Monitor and report on the progress of sustainability initiatives and community engagement efforts.
Contribute to the development of policies and strategies aimed at reducing energy consumption and promoting renewable energy sources.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, or a related field.
Proven experience in community engagement and stakeholder management.
Deep understanding of sustainable practices and energy conservation.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
