Appalachian Power - Resilience Technician Position
Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the environment and communities? Appalachian Power in West Virginia is seeking a talented and dedicated individual to fill the position of Resilience Technician.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct field investigations and assessments to support environmental monitoring efforts.
- Effectively analyze geological data and provide insights to enhance environmental stewardship.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop sustainable solutions for ecological challenges.
- Implement best practices for land reclamation and ecosystem preservation.
- Assist in the development and execution of environmental impact assessments.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory requirements related to environmental conservation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or related field.
- Experience in fieldwork, data analysis, and environmental research preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Knowledge of GIS software is a plus.
