Currently, we are seeking a talented individual to join our team in a capacity that intertwines community engagement, multimedia storytelling, and cultural advocacy.
Job Title: Community Engagement Curator
Responsibilities:
- Curate engaging and impactful community programs that promote dialogue and mutual understanding
- Develop multimedia content to share the stories and history of the Eldridge Street Synagogue
- Collaborate with diverse community stakeholders to foster inclusivity and diversity within our programs
- Manage outreach initiatives to ensure broad community participation and awareness
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (History, Cultural Studies, etc.)
- Proven experience in community engagement and cultural advocacy
- Strong communication and storytelling skills
- Passion for social responsibility and environmental sustainability
- Contribute to preserving a historic landmark and enriching the community
- Work in a dynamic and inclusive environment that values creativity and collaboration
