Globalstar, a pioneer in the satellite communication industry, is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as the Director of Public Affairs and Community Relations. This position plays a crucial role in fostering strong relationships with governmental entities, local communities, and nonprofit organizations.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies to enhance public perception of Globalstar and promote community engagement.
Forge partnerships with government agencies and nonprofit organizations to support mutually beneficial initiatives.
Advocate for Globalstar's interests in regulatory and legislative matters at local, state, and federal levels.
Coordinate corporate social responsibility programs and initiatives to positively impact communities.
Manage public communications, including press releases, media relations, and crisis communication strategies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Political Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience in public affairs, government relations, or community outreach roles.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
Strong understanding of governmental processes and regulations.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
