Through partnerships with local businesses, community organizations, and generous individuals, we distribute millions of pounds of food each year to those in need. Our work extends beyond providing meals; we strive to create sustainable and long-term solutions to hunger.

Position: Sustainable Solutions Advocate

Your Responsibilities

Develop and implement innovative strategies to reduce food waste, increase food recovery, and promote sustainable practices within our organization
Collaborate with external stakeholders, including government agencies, to advocate for policies supporting sustainable food systems
Lead engagement and education initiatives to raise awareness about the impact of food insecurity on communities and the environment
Explore partnerships with local farms and businesses to promote locally sourced and nutritious food options
Coordinate food distribution programs and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Your Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Public Policy, or a related field
Experience in project management, with a focus on sustainable initiatives
Knowledge of government regulations and policies related to food systems and waste management
Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at various levels
Passion for social responsibility, community development, and hunger relief
