We Are Hiring: Cultural Engagement Specialist

Company Overview: Myvatn Adventure Tours, located in the Northeastern Region of Iceland, is a dynamic and inclusive organization dedicated to showcasing the unique cultural heritage of the region.
Position: We are seeking a Cultural Engagement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering connections with diverse communities and creating enriching experiences for our guests.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and implement culturally immersive activities and tours
- Collaborate with local organizations to promote cultural exchange
- Conduct research on cultural practices and traditions
- Provide cultural sensitivity training to staff members
- Ensure all tour activities are inclusive and respectful of diverse backgrounds
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cultural Studies, Anthropology, or related field
- Experience in community engagement or cultural programming
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for promoting cultural diversity and inclusivity
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
