Position: Sustainability Ambassador

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Sustainability Ambassador to join our team. As a Sustainability Ambassador at RINNEN GmbH, you will play a pivotal role in promoting our environmental initiatives and driving our sustainability efforts throughout our operations.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sustainable practices across all departments, including waste management, energy conservation, and responsible sourcing
Educate and train staff on sustainable practices to ensure compliance and participation
Research and stay updated on the latest sustainability trends and best practices in the hospitality industry
Collaborate with various stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and local authorities, to enhance our sustainability strategies
Measure and report on key sustainability metrics, such as carbon emissions, water consumption, and waste reduction
Engage with our guests to raise awareness about our sustainability initiatives and encourage their active participation
Support the development and implementation of sustainability-related marketing and communication strategies

Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor's degree in environmental sciences, hospitality management, or a related field
Prior experience in a similar sustainability-focused position within the hospitality industry is highly desirable
Excellent knowledge of environmental regulations, certifications, and best practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders
Passion for sustainability and genuine commitment to promoting environmental responsibility
Sound analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in both written and spoken English; German language skills would be an advantage
