Position Available: Sustainability Coordinator

Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corporation is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Sustainability Coordinator. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in promoting environmental stewardship and sustainability initiatives throughout our organization.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sustainability programs and strategies to enhance eco-friendly practices within the corporation
Collaborate with different departments to integrate sustainable practices into daily operations
Conduct research on industry best practices and innovative approaches to sustainability
Monitor and evaluate the impact of sustainability initiatives on the environment
Provide training and educational resources to staff members on sustainability topics

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field
Experience in sustainability projects or environmental management
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Passion for promoting environmental awareness and making a positive impact
