Position: Heritage Preservation Specialist

The National Capital Exhibition in the Australian Capital Territory is seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join our team as a Heritage Preservation Specialist.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement preservation strategies to protect and maintain historical buildings and sites
  • Conduct thorough assessments of heritage structures and provide recommendations for restoration and conservation
  • Collaborate with architectural teams to ensure adherence to heritage conservation standards
  • Research historical documentation and records to support preservation projects
  • Advise on heritage preservation policies and guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, History, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in heritage preservation or related roles
  • Strong knowledge of heritage conservation practices and regulations
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
