Position: Heritage Preservation Specialist
The National Capital Exhibition in the Australian Capital Territory is seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join our team as a Heritage Preservation Specialist.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement preservation strategies to protect and maintain historical buildings and sites
- Conduct thorough assessments of heritage structures and provide recommendations for restoration and conservation
- Collaborate with architectural teams to ensure adherence to heritage conservation standards
- Research historical documentation and records to support preservation projects
- Advise on heritage preservation policies and guidelines
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, History, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in heritage preservation or related roles
- Strong knowledge of heritage conservation practices and regulations
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
