Position: Community Engagement Coordinator
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies to enhance public participation in various social development projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including local government, nonprofit organizations, and community leaders, to identify community needs and opportunities.
- Plan and organize events, campaigns, and workshops to raise awareness and encourage community involvement.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with community partners to leverage resources and support.
- Manage volunteers and oversee their involvement in community activities.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of community engagement initiatives and implement improvements as necessary.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in community engagement and social development.
Requirements:
- A passion for community development and a strong commitment to social change.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and network with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven experience in organizing and managing community events or projects.
- Ability to think creatively and develop innovative strategies to address community challenges.
