Role: Sustainable Tourism Advocate

Are you passionate about sustainable development and eager to contribute to the growth of responsible tourism? We are seeking a driven individual to join our team as a Sustainable Tourism Advocate. In this role, you will engage with stakeholders, implement sustainable tourism initiatives, and support our vision for a greener and more socially conscious tourism industry.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies to promote eco-friendly practices in the tourism sector
Collaborate with local businesses, organizations, and government agencies to foster sustainable tourism initiatives
Engage with tourists, providing them with information and promoting ethical and sustainable travel options
Organize and participate in community events and initiatives focused on environmental conservation and cultural heritage preservation
Monitor the impact of tourism activities on the environment and local communities, proposing and implementing mitigating measures

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainable Development, Tourism, or a related field
Prior experience working in the tourism industry, preferably in a role related to sustainability
Strong knowledge of sustainable tourism principles and practices
Excellent communication and networking skills
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
Passionate about social responsibility and environmental conservation
