Excavation and Land Rehabilitation Specialist

Tempur Sealy International, a leading mattress and bedding products manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Excavation and Land Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team in Kentucky. Responsibilities

Conduct thorough environmental site assessments, including soil and groundwater sampling, to identify potential environmental risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies
Oversee the excavation and remediation process, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement site-specific restoration plans to rehabilitate disturbed land areas
Monitor and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of remediation and restoration efforts
Provide expertise and guidance on sustainable land management practices, including erosion control and re-vegetation techniques
Stay up-to-date with current environmental regulations, industry trends, and technological advancements to continuously improve our environmental practices

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental site assessments, soil remediation, and land reclamation
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations
Proficient in analyzing and interpreting environmental data, including soil and groundwater sampling results
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
