Position: Land Stewardship Specialist
About the Role:
- Devise and implement strategies for sustainable land management, considering environmental, social, and economic factors.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address land use challenges and opportunities.
- Evaluate proposals for land use, ensuring adherence to policies and regulations.
- Develop plans for land restoration, erosion control, and habitat enhancement.
- Monitor land activities, ensuring compliance and assessing impacts.
- Forge partnerships with local communities, landowners, and organizations involved in land management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, or related field.
- Experience in land management, including planning and project implementation.
- Familiarity with federal regulations and policies related to land use.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
