Role and Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement communication strategies to enhance the hospital's reputation and promote its services to the public
  • Manage internal and external communications, including press releases, social media, website content, and other digital platforms
  • Create engaging and informative content, such as articles, newsletters, and videos, to educate and inform patients, staff, and the wider community
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, researchers, and administrators to generate content that showcases the Trust's achievements and medical breakthroughs
  • Handle media inquiries and act as a spokesperson for the organization when necessary
  • Organize and coordinate events, public campaigns, and open days to engage with the local community
  • Monitor media coverage and manage any potential reputation or crisis management issues

Requirements


  • A degree in a related field such as Communications, Journalism, or Public Relations
  • Proven experience in a communications role, preferably within the healthcare sector
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficiency in managing multiple social media platforms and content management systems
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
