Role and Responsibilities

Develop and implement communication strategies to enhance the hospital's reputation and promote its services to the public
Manage internal and external communications, including press releases, social media, website content, and other digital platforms
Create engaging and informative content, such as articles, newsletters, and videos, to educate and inform patients, staff, and the wider community
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, researchers, and administrators to generate content that showcases the Trust's achievements and medical breakthroughs
Handle media inquiries and act as a spokesperson for the organization when necessary
Organize and coordinate events, public campaigns, and open days to engage with the local community
Monitor media coverage and manage any potential reputation or crisis management issues

Requirements

A degree in a related field such as Communications, Journalism, or Public Relations
Proven experience in a communications role, preferably within the healthcare sector
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
Proficiency in managing multiple social media platforms and content management systems
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
