Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement communication strategies to enhance the hospital's reputation and promote its services to the public
- Manage internal and external communications, including press releases, social media, website content, and other digital platforms
- Create engaging and informative content, such as articles, newsletters, and videos, to educate and inform patients, staff, and the wider community
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, researchers, and administrators to generate content that showcases the Trust's achievements and medical breakthroughs
- Handle media inquiries and act as a spokesperson for the organization when necessary
- Organize and coordinate events, public campaigns, and open days to engage with the local community
- Monitor media coverage and manage any potential reputation or crisis management issues
Requirements
- A degree in a related field such as Communications, Journalism, or Public Relations
- Proven experience in a communications role, preferably within the healthcare sector
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency in managing multiple social media platforms and content management systems
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
