Position: Senior Property Development Specialist

Job Summary:

As a Senior Property Development Specialist at American House Senior Living Communities, you will play a vital role in the development and growth of our senior living communities throughout Michigan. This position requires a deep understanding of Construction/Real Estate principles, project management, and a passion for creating comfortable and functional living spaces for our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate potential real estate opportunities for development projects.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and designers to oversee project plans and ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to determine project feasibility and potential return on investment.
  • Prepare comprehensive project proposals, including financial forecasts and cost estimates.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources.
  • Liaise with local government agencies and obtain necessary permits and approvals.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulations throughout the construction process.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain communication with all stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team to develop effective strategies for property promotion and leasing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in real estate development and project management.
  • Knowledge of local construction codes, zoning regulations, and building permits.
  • Strong financial analysis and forecasting skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
