About the Role:

The Energy Efficiency Specialist will play a key role in developing and implementing energy efficiency programs aimed at reducing energy consumption and promoting sustainable practices within the region. In collaboration with various stakeholders, including governmental and nonprofit organizations, you will design, execute, and evaluate energy-saving initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Identify energy-saving opportunities in residential, commercial, and public sectors through detailed energy audits and analysis.
Develop and propose strategies and measures to improve energy efficiency based on findings.
Collaborate with governmental and nonprofit organizations to secure funding for energy efficiency projects.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients regarding energy-efficient technologies and practices.
Create and deliver training programs to raise awareness and promote behavioral changes for energy conservation.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of energy efficiency initiatives, including tracking energy savings and recommending adjustments when needed.
Prepare and present reports on project progress, outcomes, and performance indicators to stakeholders.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Energy Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related fields.
Proven experience in energy efficiency, renewable energy, or related areas.
Knowledge of applicable regulations, policies, and standards in energy efficiency.
Strong analytical skills and ability to perform accurate energy audits.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Proficient in using energy management software and tools.
