Position: Artisan Talent Scout

Job Description:

As an Artisan Talent Scout, you will play a pivotal role in discovering exceptional artistic talents from across Finland and beyond. Your mission will be to identify, connect, and nurture skilled artisans who demonstrate a passion for their craft, ensuring the continuous growth and diversification of our product range.

Responsibilities:

Sourcing and evaluating artisan candidates through various channels, such as online platforms, exhibitions, and local communities.
Conducting in-depth interviews and skill assessments to understand the artists' expertise, motivations, and cultural influences.
Building and maintaining a strong network of artisans, fostering relationships, and providing support throughout the creative process.
Collaborating with our design and production teams to align the selected artisans' creations with our brand vision.
Monitoring market trends and scouting for emerging talents to ensure our product offerings remain innovative and captivating.
Contributing to the creation of comprehensive talent acquisition strategies and initiatives to enhance the studio's recruitment efforts.

Requirements:

A genuine appreciation for artistry, craftsmanship, and diverse cultural expressions.
Prior experience in talent acquisition, artist management, or related creative fields.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with artists and build lasting relationships.
An eye for exceptional talent and the ability to recognize emerging trends in the art and craft industry.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in both Finnish and English languages, both spoken and written.
Passion for preserving traditional crafts and promoting sustainable creative practices.
