We're Hiring: Land Resource Analyst

At Dakota Dairy Farm, we recognize the vital role that the environment and geology play in our agricultural operations. To further enhance our sustainability efforts and optimize our land management practices, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Land Resource Analyst.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of the farm's land resources, including soil composition, water availability, and overall ecological health.
Analyze geologic data to identify potential risks and opportunities for land development and conservation.
Develop and implement strategies to maximize land utilization and minimize environmental impact.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support sustainable farming practices and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Monitor and report on changes in land resources, advising management on potential areas for improvement and conservation efforts.
Contribute to the development of long-term land management plans and provide recommendations based on geologic and environmental research.
Stay updated on industry advancements, emerging technologies, and environmental policies related to land resource management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Previous experience in land resource analysis or environmental consulting preferred.
Strong knowledge of geologic and environmental assessment techniques and methodologies.
Familiarity with GIS software and other analytical tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Demonstrated commitment to sustainable practices and environmental conservation.
