Position Overview

As a Culinary Experience Innovator at Coastal KZN TVET College, you will lead the development and implementation of unique dining experiences that showcase the rich cultural heritage of our region. Your creativity and passion for culinary arts will play a vital role in enhancing the overall dining experience for staff, students, and visitors.

Responsibilities

Researching and creating innovative menus that reflect diverse cultural cuisines
Designing and implementing new cooking techniques and presentation methods
Collaborating with our talented kitchen team to ensure exceptional food quality and taste
Conducting regular trainings and workshops to enhance culinary skills of the kitchen staff
Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards in the kitchen

Requirements

Proven experience in culinary arts and menu development
Passion for exploring different cuisines and cultural flavors
Strong knowledge of ingredient sourcing and industry trends
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
