Job Description

Position: Environmental Resource Manager
Department: Natural Resources
Industry: Environmental Conservation

The Environmental Resource Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the protection and sustainable use of Nairobi County's natural resources. This includes:

Developing and implementing environmental plans, policies, and strategies
Supervising environmental monitoring and assessment programs
Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards
Providing technical expertise on environmental issues
Coordinating with stakeholders to promote environmental awareness and education
Managing and leading a team of environmental professionals

Qualifications

A degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in environmental management
Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and policies
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Proven leadership abilities
