We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Senior Content Strategist to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Content Strategist at NSHS, you will have a unique opportunity to shape Nebraska's historical narratives and engage audiences through various communication channels. Responsibilities

Develop and execute content strategies that effectively communicate the historical significance and value of Nebraska's history
Create compelling and engaging content for multiple platforms, including websites, social media, newsletters, and publications
Collaborate with historians, researchers, and curators to ensure accuracy and authenticity of content
Identify target audiences and tailor content to meet their informational and educational needs
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in content strategy, digital media, and historical research
Manage and oversee content production, including writing, editing, and proofreading

Requirements

Bachelor's or master's degree in History, Journalism, English, or a related field
Proven experience in content strategy, preferably in a historical or cultural organization
Exceptional writing skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to interpret complex historical information and present it in an accessible manner
Expertise in digital content creation and management
Proficiency in utilizing various social media platforms for content promotion
Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
