Position Overview:

We are looking for a talented and experienced professional to strategically drive our talent acquisition initiatives. As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, assessing, and selecting top-tier candidates across various departments within the municipality.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates
Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and requirements
Create compelling job descriptions and post them on relevant job boards and platforms
Utilize a variety of sourcing methods, including social media, job advertisements, and networking, to build a pipeline of qualified candidates
Screen applications and conduct effective phone and in-person interviews
Coordinate and conduct background checks and reference checks for selected candidates
Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records and data
Stay informed about labor market trends and industry best practices
Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates and industry professionals
Assist in the development and implementation of onboarding programs

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably in the public sector
Proven track record in sourcing and attracting top-tier candidates
A deep understanding of recruitment strategies, techniques, and best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in MS Office and recruitment software
Ability to handle multiple recruitment processes simultaneously
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
