Position Overview:

We are looking for a talented and experienced professional to strategically drive our talent acquisition initiatives. As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, assessing, and selecting top-tier candidates across various departments within the municipality.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and requirements
  • Create compelling job descriptions and post them on relevant job boards and platforms
  • Utilize a variety of sourcing methods, including social media, job advertisements, and networking, to build a pipeline of qualified candidates
  • Screen applications and conduct effective phone and in-person interviews
  • Coordinate and conduct background checks and reference checks for selected candidates
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records and data
  • Stay informed about labor market trends and industry best practices
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates and industry professionals
  • Assist in the development and implementation of onboarding programs


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably in the public sector
  • Proven track record in sourcing and attracting top-tier candidates
  • A deep understanding of recruitment strategies, techniques, and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and recruitment software
  • Ability to handle multiple recruitment processes simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
