Position: Artistic Project Coordinator

Job Description

Oversee the coordination and implementation of artistic projects for the Ajaccio Community Youth Orchestra.
Create and manage project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met.
Collaborate with musicians, conductors, and other stakeholders to plan and execute successful musical events.
Research and identify potential venues for performances and ensure optimal use of available resources.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, service providers, and venues.
Supervise the logistics of concerts and performances, including stage setup, sound equipment, and instrument transportation.
Ensure the smooth operation of rehearsals and performances, coordinating with musicians and technical staff.
Assist in fundraising activities and grant applications to support future projects.
Manage budgets and financial aspects related to artistic projects.
Maintain accurate documentation and records related to projects and activities.

Requirements

Previous experience in event coordination or project management.
A passion for music and a strong interest in fostering musical talent.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in French and English (both written and spoken).
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as required by performances and events.
Knowledge of Corsica's cultural scene and venues is a plus.
