Position Description:

The Government of Quebec's Quebec Construction Group is looking for a talented and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Project Development Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the development of innovative construction projects throughout Quebec, ensuring their successful completion.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the development of construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to high-quality standards, budgets, and timelines.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
Prepare and review project proposals, feasibility studies, and cost estimates.
Oversee project planning, including site selection, design development, and permit acquisition.
Analyze and mitigate project risks, implementing necessary corrective actions.
Manage project schedules and resources effectively, ensuring efficient utilization.
Coordinate and supervise project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and present findings to senior management.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Proven experience in project management, preferably in the construction or real estate industry.
Strong knowledge of construction practices, project planning, budgeting, and risk management.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
Fluency in both English and French is required.
