We are seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our team at Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA), based in Central, Kenya.

Position: Sustainable Development Analyst

Responsibilities:

Conduct research and analysis on sustainable development issues, with a focus on promoting socio-economic growth while protecting the environment.
Provide policy advice and recommendations to government bodies, NGOs, and community stakeholders.
Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies for sustainable development in Kenya.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement projects aligned with sustainable development goals.
Monitor and evaluate the impact of policies and initiatives related to sustainable development.
Stay updated with local and international trends, policies, and best practices in sustainable development.

Requirements:

Master's degree in Environmental Science, Public Policy, Sustainability, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in research and analysis, preferably in the field of sustainable development.
Strong understanding of environmental issues, policy frameworks, and sustainable development principles.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and interpret data.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools for research and analysis.
Passionate about sustainable development and contributing to positive change.
