Position: Sustainable Development Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis on sustainable development issues, with a focus on promoting socio-economic growth while protecting the environment.
- Provide policy advice and recommendations to government bodies, NGOs, and community stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies for sustainable development in Kenya.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement projects aligned with sustainable development goals.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of policies and initiatives related to sustainable development.
- Stay updated with local and international trends, policies, and best practices in sustainable development.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Environmental Science, Public Policy, Sustainability, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in research and analysis, preferably in the field of sustainable development.
- Strong understanding of environmental issues, policy frameworks, and sustainable development principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and interpret data.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for research and analysis.
- Passionate about sustainable development and contributing to positive change.
