Job Opening: Community Engagement Specialist

Role Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Community Engagement Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering strong relationships between Coldiretti and various stakeholders, including farmers, local communities, media outlets, and government agencies. You will develop and implement strategies to effectively communicate Coldiretti's mission, initiatives, and impact, both externally and internally.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain relationships with local media outlets, including print, TV, and online platforms, to maximize Coldiretti's media presence.
Manage Coldiretti's social media accounts and website, ensuring engaging content related to agricultural advancements, sustainable farming, and local events.
Organize and coordinate press conferences, interviews, and media campaigns to raise awareness of Coldiretti's activities and achievements.
Collaborate with government agencies, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions to foster partnerships and promote Coldiretti's values and initiatives.
Represent Coldiretti at community events, industry conferences, and public forums.
Create and distribute written communications, including press releases, newsletters, and articles, highlighting Coldiretti's milestones and successes.
Monitor regional, national, and international media coverage related to agriculture and ensure timely and appropriate responses when necessary.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
Proven experience in community engagement, media relations, or a similar role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Italian.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in using social media platforms, content management systems, and other relevant digital tools.
Knowledge of agricultural practices, sustainability, and current trends in the industry.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
