Position Overview:

At ProMedica, we are seeking a passionate and talented individual to join our team as a Community Engagement Specialist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and execute strategic communication plans to engage with our community and increase public awareness of our services and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to promote ProMedica's mission and enhance community engagement.
Create and manage compelling content for various communication channels, including social media, website, and newsletters.
Collaborate with internal departments to identify and prioritize key messages and initiatives.
Organize and coordinate community events, workshops, and public relations activities.
Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, community partners, and local media outlets.
Analyze data and provide insights on communication effectiveness and community feedback.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
Previous experience in community engagement, public relations, or media relations preferred.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Proficiency in social media platforms, content creation, and analytics.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse audiences.
