Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a passionate and driven Facility Development Manager to join our team. As the Facility Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the growth and expansion of our physical facilities, equipment, and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute strategies to enhance our physical facilities in line with our mission and vision
- Manage construction and renovation projects, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors during the planning and implementation phases
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and address them efficiently
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts for construction and maintenance services
- Oversee budgeting and financial management for facility development projects
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in facility management
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure the smooth functioning of our facilities
- Implement sustainability initiatives and ensure our facilities meet environmental standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in facility development or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction, building codes, and regulations
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Innovative mindset, always looking for ways to improve our facilities
