NT Legal Aid Commission is seeking a talented and dynamic individual to join our team as a Senior Communications Specialist!

Position Summary:

Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to enhance the reputation of NT Legal Aid Commission.
Manage internal and external communications, ensuring consistency and alignment with the organization's mission and goals.
Create compelling content for various media channels, including press releases, website, social media, and publications.
Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, stakeholders, and key partners.
Provide strategic advice on messaging, media relations, and crisis communications.
Lead the planning and execution of media campaigns and public events.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
Proven experience in developing and implementing successful communication strategies in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills to deliver high-quality content.
Strong understanding of media relations and ability to work effectively with journalists.
Proficient in leveraging various social media platforms for communication purposes.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
