Position: Community Health Coordinator

Job Description:

As a Community Health Coordinator at GGD Drenthe, you will play a crucial role in facilitating health programs and initiatives within the community. You will work closely with local stakeholders, government agencies, and non-profit organizations to develop and implement strategies aimed at improving public health.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key community partners
Identify health needs and priorities through needs assessments and data analysis
Plan, coordinate, and evaluate health promotion programs and campaigns
Collaborate with local organizations to address health disparities and provide equitable access to healthcare services
Organize community engagement events and workshops to raise awareness on health issues
Provide health education and support to community members
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines
Conduct research and collect data to monitor and improve health outcomes

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Health, Community Development, or a related field
Experience working in community health or a similar role
Familiarity with government policies, non-profit organizations, and public health practices
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
Proficient in data analysis and interpretation
Fluency in Dutch and English
