Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated, passionate individual to join our team as an Education Advocate. As an Education Advocate, you will be at the forefront of promoting educational excellence and enhancing educational policy across Mississippi's schools.

Your Responsibilities:

Advocate for education reform and policy changes that positively impact our schools
Collaborate with various stakeholders to facilitate the implementation of innovative educational programs
Represent the Mississippi School Boards Association in meetings with policymakers, community leaders, and other organizations
Stay updated on relevant legislation and policies affecting education, and provide informed recommendations
Conduct research and data analysis to support evidence-based decision-making
Coordinate and organize conferences, workshops, and training sessions related to educational advancement

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Public Policy, or a related field
Strong knowledge and understanding of Mississippi's education system
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive positive change
Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple projects
