Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sustainable Development Engineer to join our team. As a Sustainable Development Engineer, you will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and implementing sustainable infrastructure projects within the Aosta Valley. You will be responsible for designing and managing construction projects that adhere to sustainable practices, ensuring that environmental and social impact considerations are taken into account throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Develop sustainable development strategies and action plans.
- Assess the environmental impact of proposed construction projects.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to incorporate sustainable design principles into projects.
- Promote the use of renewable energy sources and green materials in construction.
- Monitor and evaluate the implementation of sustainable development initiatives.
- Provide guidance and support to contractors and project managers on sustainability best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in sustainable construction practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sustainable infrastructure development or sustainable construction projects.
- Sound knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability standards.
- Familiarity with green building certification systems (e.g., LEED or BREEAM).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English and Italian is essential.
