Join Our Team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team in a critical position that plays an integral role in shaping our workforce. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will have the opportunity to bring exceptional talent into our organization and contribute to the growth and success of our dedicated team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, interviews, and offer negotiations
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of staffing requirements
- Utilize various sourcing methods, including online platforms, networking events, and referrals
- Evaluate candidate resumes and applications to assess suitability and alignment with organizational values
- Conduct thorough and fair interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit
- Coordinate pre-employment checks, reference checks, and other screening processes
- Maintain accurate recruitment data and provide relevant reports to management
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment
Requirements:
- Proven working experience in recruitment or a related field
- Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Well-versed in the use of online platforms and social media for recruitment
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Understanding of Aboriginal cultures and communities (highly desirable)
- Certifications in Human Resources or a related field (preferred)
