Join Our Team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team in a critical position that plays an integral role in shaping our workforce. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will have the opportunity to bring exceptional talent into our organization and contribute to the growth and success of our dedicated team.



Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, interviews, and offer negotiations
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of staffing requirements
  • Utilize various sourcing methods, including online platforms, networking events, and referrals
  • Evaluate candidate resumes and applications to assess suitability and alignment with organizational values
  • Conduct thorough and fair interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit
  • Coordinate pre-employment checks, reference checks, and other screening processes
  • Maintain accurate recruitment data and provide relevant reports to management
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment


Requirements:

  • Proven working experience in recruitment or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Well-versed in the use of online platforms and social media for recruitment
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Understanding of Aboriginal cultures and communities (highly desirable)
  • Certifications in Human Resources or a related field (preferred)
