About the Role:

Participate in environmental research and conservation activities
Conduct field surveys and data collection related to geology, biodiversity, and ecology
Assess the impact of cycling tours on local ecosystems and recommend mitigation measures
Collaborate with local organizations and authorities to develop sustainable initiatives
Advise on ecological best practices for tour planning and implementation
Educate staff and customers on environmental awareness and responsible tourism
Stay updated on relevant environmental policies, regulations, and industry trends

Requirements:

Advanced degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Biology, or related field
Proven field research experience in environmental conservation
Strong knowledge of Umbria's ecology, geology, and environmental challenges
Familiarity with environmental impact assessment techniques and mitigation strategies
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for outdoor activities, cycling, and sustainable tourism
