The J.M. Smucker Co. is seeking a passionate and experienced Social Impact Strategist to join our team in Ohio. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to our company's commitment to social responsibility.

As a Social Impact Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives that align our organization with social causes and maximize positive community impact. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and community leaders, to identify priorities and create collaborative solutions.

Responsibilities:

Conduct research to identify social issues relevant to our business and stakeholders.
Create and execute strategic plans to address those issues.
Collaborate with internal teams to integrate social impact initiatives into company-wide strategies.
Establish and manage partnerships with government entities, nonprofits, and community organizations.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators to measure the success of social impact programs.
Lead employee volunteer and engagement initiatives to promote social responsibility within the company.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulations relating to social impact.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Public Policy, Community Development, Nonprofit Management).
Proven experience in social impact strategy, community development, or corporate social responsibility.
Strong understanding of government and nonprofit sectors, as well as community dynamics.
Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Ability to forge partnerships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Passion for making a positive difference in society.
