Position: Sustainable Development Engineer

Job Description:

Engage in the sustainable planning, design, and construction of vital infrastructure projects in Stockholms län.
Research and implement environmentally friendly practices, materials, and technologies in all construction phases.
Work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure compliance with sustainable development goals.
Prepare and review sustainability reports, including energy efficiency assessments and environmental impact assessments.
Monitor and analyze the environmental impact of ongoing and completed projects.
Contribute to the agency's efforts in reducing carbon footprint and promoting renewable energy solutions.
Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to sustainable development in the construction sector.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Proven experience in sustainable design and construction projects.
Familiarity with relevant environmental certifications and compliance standards (e.g., LEED, BREEAM).
Strong knowledge of sustainable materials, energy efficiency, and renewable energy technologies.
Proficiency in project management and data analysis tools.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
