Position: Innovation & Energy Conservation Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Innovation & Energy Conservation Specialist to join our team. As the Innovation & Energy Conservation Specialist, you will play a vital role in promoting environmental awareness, implementing energy conservation strategies, and fostering innovation in our school district.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement energy conservation initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of our school district
Create and manage programs that educate students and staff on environmental responsibility and conservation practices
Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate environmental education into the curriculum
Research and recommend innovative technologies and strategies for sustainable infrastructure and operations
Conduct energy audits and create reports to track energy consumption and identify areas for improvement
Lead and participate in community outreach programs related to environmental sustainability

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field
Proven experience in energy conservation, environmental management, or related areas
Strong knowledge of sustainable practices and technologies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders
Passion for environmental sustainability and education
