Position Overview:

As a Strategic Communications Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing communications strategies that support our organizational goals. You will be responsible for creating compelling content, managing media relations, and driving internal and external communications initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans to drive brand awareness and enhance our reputation
Create engaging content, including press releases, articles, social media posts, and executive communications
Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and effective communication strategies
Act as a spokesperson for the organization, representing our brand in media interviews and public speaking engagements
Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify proactive opportunities and address potential risks
Manage relationships with media partners, influencers, and community organizations
Measure and analyze the impact of communication efforts and make data-driven recommendations for improvement

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in strategic communications or a similar role
Proven track record of creating impactful content and executing successful communication campaigns
Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
Proficient in media monitoring and analysis tools
Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
