We at the New York City Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to fill the role of Community Engagement Specialist within our dynamic organization. As a core member of our team, you will play a key role in fostering community relationships and driving impactful initiatives that support the growth and well-being of our youth and neighborhoods.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain partnerships with local stakeholders to support community programs
Organize and lead community events and workshops to engage youth and families
Conduct outreach activities to promote awareness of available resources and services
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective program delivery and impact assessment
Collect and analyze data to measure community engagement outcomes and inform decision-making

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Community Development, or related field
Experience in community outreach, project management, or related roles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
