We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our team at United Way of the River Cities in West Virginia. As a vital part of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the development of community-building projects and initiatives.
Position: Community Development Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with local stakeholders to identify community needs and create strategic development plans
- Coordinate and manage projects that support sustainable growth and improvement within our region
- Develop partnerships with businesses, government agencies, and other organizations to enhance community development efforts
- Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and initiatives, making recommendations for future projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Public Administration, or a related field
- Experience in project management and community development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
