We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled individual to join our team at Highland Hiking Equipment Rental in Iceland's Western Highlands. As a Wilderness Exploration Specialist, you will be at the forefront of our innovative approach to outdoor adventures and nature exploration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate expeditions into the rugged and pristine landscapes of the Western Highlands.
- Utilize advanced equipment and technologies to enhance exploration and data collection processes.
- Conduct geological and environmental surveys to deepen our understanding of the region's unique ecosystems.
- Collaborate with our research team to develop new strategies for sustainable exploration practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field such as Earth Sciences, Outdoor Recreation, or Environmental Studies.
- Proven experience in wilderness exploration, geology, or environmental research.
