We are looking for a Community Engagement Specialist to join our dynamic team at the Vermont League of Cities and Towns. As a Community Engagement Specialist, you will play a vital role in connecting with communities across Vermont, fostering meaningful relationships, and developing strategic communication plans.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with local governments to enhance public outreach initiatives
- Develop engaging content to promote community involvement and public programs
- Organize and execute events to connect with residents and stakeholders
- Analyze communication strategies and provide recommendations for improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communication, Public Relations, or related field
- Experience in community engagement, outreach, or event planning
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with diverse teams
