Position: Community Engagement Coordinator

Nakumatt, a vibrant and inclusive organization in the heart of Rift Valley, is seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our team as a Community Engagement Coordinator. As we sculpt the future within Kenya's beautiful landscapes, we understand the importance of unity in diversity and the power of collective impact.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners for collaborative initiatives
  • Organize community outreach programs and events to foster engagement and empowerment
  • Facilitate communication between Nakumatt and local governmental bodies for impactful projects
  • Implement strategies to promote inclusivity and cultural diversity within the region
  • Evaluate the success of community engagement efforts and adjust strategies accordingly

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, International Relations, or related field
  • Experience in community development, NGO work, or related areas is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
  • Passion for making a positive impact and driving change at the grassroots level
