We are looking for a Natural Resource Conservation Specialist to work with us in protecting and enhancing the beautiful natural landscapes through sustainable practices and innovative solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting field surveys, analyzing geological data, and developing conservation strategies that align with our commitment to environmental stewardship.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in earth sciences, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for implementing practical measures to safeguard the natural environment. You will collaborate closely with our team to create and implement conservation initiatives that complement our commitment to sustainable railway operations.

Key responsibilities:

Conducting geological surveys and assessments of natural resources
Analyzing environmental impact assessments and identifying conservation opportunities
Developing and implementing conservation strategies to minimize environmental footprint
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on sustainable resource management
Communicating the importance of environmental conservation to the wider community

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Earth Sciences, Geology, Environmental Studies, or related field
Proven experience in natural resource conservation and environmental stewardship
Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in data interpretation and report generation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
Fluency in English and German; additional languages are an advantage
